Renting in Boston

Well we've looked around Back Bay, Beacon Hill (HAH yeah right), Fenway, Brookline, South Boston and today Cambridge. This is what we found just near Cambridge.

TV Guide Doesn't Make Sense?!

After seeing so much of TV Guide on shows such as Seinfeld I thought I would need to buy one. This week even has The Sopranos on the front which is great. Problem is I can't seem to work out how to read it. We have something called Cable Ready here and I don't think it works with this guide. Anyway ...

We had a good day looking around Boston for properties. We had a realtor (Real Estate Agent) take us down to a nice residential 'burb in South Boston on the "beach". Great place that was brand new and above a diner. But it wasn't on the "T" (public transport) so we will give that a miss. We then caught the "T" across the river to around MIT. We walked around in the rain and basically saw no one .... until ..... we stumbled across a Mall! Everyone was there, and so was every store. So after recharging on some Dunkin' Donuts and coffee we made our way home.

I've put some new pics up on the Boston gallery http://dbradby.net/gallery/Boston. Go have a look to find out the name of this wine.

We still are looking for an electric kettle, but we have found a tea pot and loose leaf tea. Jen is making one now .. so I better go.

Update: .... oh and a Tim-Tam

Daniel is travelling tonight on a plane ..

With a couple of hours left until we fly out of Sydney, I've finally got a chance to write something in here to say goodbye. Thank you everyone for all the wonderful farewells we have had over the last couple of weeks.

As for the flight, thanks to modern technology in the form of Valium, I might even be able to survive the flight. We leave at 3:35pm from Sydney and arrive in LA at 10am on the same day. We have a couple of hours in LA before our connecting flight to Boston. We land in Boston at 8:35pm and are thankfully being picked up from the airport and taken to our accommadation, Back Bay, Boston. Hopefully I'll post another update soon!
