Over 3 years ago I announced on this blog my entry into the Boston Half Marathon. I was 12 weeks away and trained with some success. I managed to limp over the finishing line towards the end of the pack in about 2.5 hours.
Well stupidity strikes twice and I have entered in the Melbourne Half Marathon which takes place in a little over 3 weeks time! In fact I had entered a long time ago but wasn't really sure if I was up to it. Well a few longer runs recently have made me think I might just be able to make it. Coupled with the fact I have a running partner this time (thanks Kim) I think I'm in with a shot of finishing the race before they shut the course down.
